Friendship Board Game

Submitted by Sylvia on Thu, 06/11/2020 - 12:39

Sylvia shows us to make a board game at home. The board game is a cooperative game and you win when all the players get to the end. You can make your own cards or use the cards provided. They will require printing or copying by hand ( adult help will be needed). This is a long activity and will take some time to complete. I hope that it is fun and that it will encourage talk time about qualities that make us kind friends.  It's also a great time to talk about strategies that we can use when we are having a strong feeling or make a choice that hurts a friend's feelings, etc.

Sun Craft

Submitted by Sylvia on Thu, 05/28/2020 - 09:04

Hello TK Families.  Use the art supplies that you have available at home to make a sun craft. I made my sun craft into a shaker using two paper plates that I stapled together leaving a small gap to add some rice and beans. Then I made sure that the plate was securely stapled all the way around. Here is a picture of where I got my inspiration.

Have fun and I can't wait to see your sun craft.

You can use crayons, paints, markers, colored pencils, magazine clippings, construction paper, paper plates, or any supplies you have at home.

Read an ABC book with Sylvia. Then add 7 letters to your ABC book we made last week. This week we will add the letters: F, G, H, I, J, K, L. Write a word using your TK writing for each letter and draw a picture to go with it. Remember to share your work with us on Seesaw.
